The only reason that I was able to finish this book, was that I had a copy with pictures. Firstly, the Jesus- married- Mary-Magdalene thing- not original. Second, I spotted the bad guy right from his debut. Third, it's badly written... I cannot give it ANY stars

A BBC must-read? Ha. Entertaining and fast-paced, yes. It's written slightly better than your average thriller, but that doesn't make this book suitable to stand beside "Les Miserables" or "1984." The theories Brown shares are interesting, sure, and the setting transports you because it's so detailed, but sometimes Brown feels like that professor who spews the most interesting, simple theories of a complicated topic just to get the jocks talking and excited about the class.
