I know I'm a little late to the Kite Runner bandwagon but it was because I was worried it wouldn't live up to the hype but it was well worth it. This book is quite simply amazing. Hosseini's prose is challenging but fascinating. There isn't a topic this man doesn't cover- religion, persecution, guilt (oh so much guilt), racism, feminism, fatherhood, lies, secrets, and so much more yet the plot still manages to flow beautifully. Wow. This book opens your eyes to other cultures and fairly recent world events, but through the narrative of friendship and family saga. I really enjoyed it.
Wow! An incredible read. Not for the faint of heart. But, Wow!
