What is there to say? This one is definitely going on my list of favorites. Yes, it's a long novel, but Dostoyevsky explores so many concepts - human nature, pride, entitlement, suffering, redemption, etc. - that it could have been even longer and still been fascinating. I'll be thinking about this one for a long time to come.

Took so long to finish. At last.... This book follows the life of a Law graduate, Raskolnikov who led a poverty stricken life with his beautiful sister, Dunya. Dunya wanted to make the sacrifice to help her family by marrying a rich man. Raskolnikov in his desperation to stop Dunya, killed a pawn shop owner to rob her.
That's when he felt the sense of guilt and distraught and later turned himself in to the police.
