most romantic buk i have ever read..
An excellent read with characters that jump off the page and a moving story line even when one knows the outcome. I am sure that many have commented that by those who have seen the movie in that it is difficult to get Clark Gable out of your head when reading the book.

A book that everyone should read
I loved this book. The writing was excellent and Southern perspective on the Civil War was very interesting. Additionally, this book contains some of the most interesting and well developed characters. It's a great read for anyone who loves historical fiction as much as I do.
