What Members Thought
This book would be appreciated more by someone that is 14-18 years old, although some may consider the language questionable for the younger end of the group I listed. I believe they would identify with the main character. From my perspective, it is written well. The main character seems lonely, isolated, angry, judgmental and phony. Lonely because he invites cab drivers to have a drink with him. Isolated because he blocks people out, avoids conversations, etc. . When it comes to girls, he needs

I think I came to this book about ten years to late to connect fully with the main character. If I had read this while I was still at school I probably would have been able to relate with him more. The plot seems to move too slowly and I could see how things were going to pan out well before they did. However, if you're a teenager, I think you should read this; otherwise maybe only parents of teenagers or teachers.
