Re-read with my son, we enjoyed the adventure.
4.5 stars.
I've read it before, and now, with a nearly 8-year-old, I listened to this over a week of car journeys. My son, I thought, might give up on it, losing interest. But he surprised me completely by falling absolutely under the spell of Middle Earth, hearing the details, names, battles, escapes.

Blog comment: "I've never seen Zorba the Greek, or read it in fact. Perhaps I will add it to my list, though the list has not been moving so quickly what with all the jobs. No Logo is taking me forever, interspersed with small amounts of the women travel anthology. I tried three times to read the Hobbit and never got more than 100 pgs through it. Don't know why really."
