I really wanted to love the hobbit given all the hype with LOTR however I think this genre just isn't for me. I was bored from start to finish and struggled to pay attention.
Probably didn't help that I listened to the audio version that included dwarves singing!
Can't say I'll now read LOTR series. Also I found it interesting there wasn't a single female character at all! ...more
