Gladwell is a story-teller, not a scientist. Taken as such, his books are well written and entertaining; but they are only starting points for discussion. Nevertheless, people change important things like their parenting based on these stories, so it is worth evaluating their content.

I have definitely listened to Gladwell's podcast too much or for too long, because there was a whole scene from this book that I was insisting to someone was from the podcast: I heard it in MG's voice, I could hear the incising interview, I swore up and down it was from "Revisionist History"...but then they recognized it as being from this book. So, I guess Malcolm Gladwell is in my head now.
