I don't know the future of everything, but I know a little about the history of public health and what the author says there is just plain wrong. For example, he claims that life expectancy was around 18 years for thousands of years and well into the 19th century even in America. A quick look at Our World in Data for example shows that this is way way off. This sort of basic factual error undermines the credibility of the whole thing as a science book.
