I love Andy Cohen. He seems to be as fascinated by kooky behavior as I am. I don't think I have missed a single episode of his fabulous let's-put-some-liquor-in-Jackee-and-see-what-happens kind of talk show. Saturday Night Live got it right, he is "adorable." That's why I thought there was no chance I would win this book in the giveaway, than I did! http://www.goodreads.com/giveaway/sho... If Andy Cohen never wrote this book I'd still have no idea who he is. Only because people kept buying this book was I compelled to pick it up. I came to it with no preconceived notions, and was pleased to encounter first a lovely chapter on childhood idol worship, and then an unusually affirming chapter on a healthy coming-out. Enjoyable for the most part. An interesting account of a soap-opera and pop culture obsession child grew up to have a job in television news and eventually became a vice-president of Bravo. Maybe a little bit too much information about "The Real Housewives of....." franchise. I listened to the audio which I enjoyed because Andy Cohen read it--and read it well.
