A not to heavy spiritual read. Father Martin encourages levity and joyfulness in our prayer lives. He gives examples of humor in both the bible and in his life - sometimes through jokes and sometimes through humorous stories. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading from the bibliography included in the back of the book and additional works from Father Martin. (Father Martin is the official pastor of The Colbert Report although I learned of this book from Morning Joe.)
