This biography was short and to the point. I have read other founding fathers books and the authors have waxed poetic about their lives, accomplishments, and hopes and dreams. Brookhiser des not do this. I feel after reading this that I have a good handle on the man, what his contributions to the founding of the nation were, and his legacy through the constitution.
