Really a very interesting thesis, and informative about the general course of human history. However, it is very ironic that Diamond talks about the difficulty of covering all of human history in roughly 400 pages, and then basically writes the same 30 pages over and over again. While it is an interesting topic, it gets tedious quickly and by about 100 pages into the book you know basically everything you will learn. My suggestion, read the introduction, epilogue, chapters 2, 4, and 5. This will
