I have been looking forward to reading this for a while. Our library finally got the new bestsellers collection processed, so I have checked it out. I just started it.

What I learned from this book: Stephen Colbert is always right (not like we didn't already know that).
Fans of Stephen Colbert, you're already reading this or planning on it. People who haven't joined the Colbert Nation, watch a few episodes of The Colbert Report then read this book. Being a huge fan of his television show, I would recommend this audio book to anyone who appreciates his humor. I read an excerpt of the book, which is missing something. What it was missing is his voice - with the audio book, it is easier to be part of the joke. Just like The Report.
I decided to go out and get this book after I got into his show, which is hilarious. It is definitely a good buy, if you like his show, you will like this book. Organized into a style that is very similar to the Bible, surly a coincedence, I am sure.... But it coincides with Stephen's god complex and superior mindset. His views on different subjects tell it like it is... sort of. It is hilarious. I laughed, I cried, I lost 15lbs, I highly recommend this book. Stephen Colbert IS AMERICA!!!!!

HILARIOUS! I needed something funny and this did the trick. I was laughing out loud through the whole thing. People thought I was nuts, at the doctor's office, on the beach. Brilliant political/social satire. If you like Colbert, you'll love this. Quick read.

Too much good stuff. The material is entertaining, but a bit repetitive. I just got tired of the sarcasm after a while. Still a good read if you do no more than a chapter per sitting.
Stephen Colbert is very funny and I had fun reading it, but it's no America The Book.

smart, witty, attractive.....what more could you ask for in a man....i mean book.
Once a fan always a fan. Oh and buy the CD as well.
Colbert did not disappoint me.
