The Harry Potter series is one teenage fiction series that all can appreciate. It is very witty, exciting, suspenseful, humorous, and dramatic all at once, but manages to pull that off without being overwhelmed. The long books allow for fantastic exposition and rich detail. One of the few teenage "literature" books that deserves to be called "literature". (I started reading this series several years ago)
