This book actually saved my life. I was suicidal because of my teaching position and the principal from hell. I was given an emergency two week mental health leave when a couple of colleagues contacted my psychologist. This was the first book I read during my time off. It made all the difference in my mental well-being. Morrie is/was my kind of people - concerned about others and willing to accept what life has to offer, even when it isn't what we would like.
