Rowling could have suffered the “Titanic” drawback…people spend so long espousing the movie, that in the end, it did not matter that it was actually a good film, you were sick of it before it even began. The one relatively good Harry Potter good. Not perfect, but miles above any of the other books, because they finally decide to stop screwing around at school and get around to saving the world. I always hated Ginny, though; she's pretty much the most useless character in the series.

It wasn't my favorite Harry Potter book (Order of the Phoenix was probably my favorite), but it was a great book. I feel like we learned a lot more about characters other than Harry in this one, and I liked that.

What a wonderful end to the series. I was surprised at how it began, though as the story developed I know why we needed the earlier info. Once Harry and others got back to Hogwarts, it progressed more like I had expected it to. I can't wait to go back and reread the whole series. Also, Neville's still my favorite! :)
