Mary Roach where have you been all my life? Or at least since I started reading science books??? Laugh out loud funny, informative, and just GOOD. Highly recommend. I can't wait to read her others.

Fascinating look into the preparations for space travel that affect everyday life, but we probably wouldn't think of without Mary Roach delving into these matters. Remember you need gravity to urinate and defecate. The book isn't all about topics which would get a junior high schooler chuckling. Very interesting told very well. The narrator was ideal.

Fascinating information about life in space presented in an entertaining fashion. There were a lot of topics addressed that people never think about when they think about astronauts. Besides the cramped living quarters, there are many issues with eating, vomiting, going to the bathroom, trying to shower etc. I don't remember any of this being portrayed in the movie Space Camp.

Packed full of interesting tidbits and funny in a word-play kind of way, don't miss it if you are interested in space or a fan of Mary Roach.

People who know me reasonably well and who have read this book will not be surprised that my favorite chapters were the last three.
