True the book's title, "Disintegration: The Splintering of Black America," discusses the division of what was once considered a unified black America. Eugene Robinson brings research, history, and anecdotes throughout the entire text. It was interesting to see another perspective on the differences between black people, emphasizing while some had 'made it' and others have not and the hypocritical beliefs regarding Affirmative Action within the different tiers of black society.
