What Members Thought
I needed this relatively softball read after some heavy prior reads. Engrossing story of a black female reporter at a Chicago TV station reporting and getting involved in the death of a 15-year old bright black female high schooler. A lot of characters to keep track of, a hole or two (what happened to the victim's bicycle?) but I think Hall is setting this up as a series. I'm eager to see what happens next to protagonist Jordan Manning.
