Fascinating and sad book about Farrow's efforts to report on monsters like Harvey Weinstein, Donald Trump, and Matt Lauer. Most of the book is about Farrow's time working for NBC, and how they bent over backwards to protect Weinstein. It was remarkably frustrating to listen to (audio book). Farrow even had a clip of Weinstein "begging" a woman to come to his room with him. Sadly, the US has a high tolerance for allowing these pieces of shit a lot of power: heck, Trump was elected president. One ...more

Must-read. Would give more than 5 stars if I could! Fascinating, infuriating. Reads like a real-life spy novel. Whatever you think you already know about this story; you will learn a whole lot more about it and others related to it.

Ronan Farrow finally gets to report about sexual assaulters such as Harvey Weinstein and Matt Lauer. The actual read was easy, the subject matter was not. I do not understand how the powers that continue to be protest that they did NOT stop Farrow from reporting this crime.
Farrow's writing style started more florid than I expected, but I got used to. The end of the book was confusing to me because of the number of people named and I could not keep straight their role in the story.
