What Members Thought
Dapper Dan grew up hustling on the streets of Harlem, but he wasn't an ordinary hustler. He was a reader and a thinker, and this elevated him, allowed him to turn his hustling into a science. Eventually he worked his way off the streets and opened a clothing store. I don't know anything about fashion, and I didn't understand his vision of it, but he was tremendously successful at it, until he wasn't. A good read, educational, dipping its toe into many subjects I would have enjoyed more depth on.
