What Members Thought
It's very hard to explain things like black holes and quantum physics so it's wonderful to have a great scientist do that for you and do it briefly. The audiobook has some clips of Hawking talking, and that's a nice touch.
I felt like the book went off track toward the end though with an emphasis on techno-futurism that verges on faith more than science. I love Star Trek too, but Jeff Bezos isn't Captain Kirk and Space-X is not Star Fleet. I don't find it "optimistic" to imply we have to gamble ...more
