So poorly written, it was a detriment to fluid reading. I kept having to re-read sentences or paragraphs because I'd get to the end and go, "Huh?"
Not a lot new. I should stop reading about these people. My blood pressure is too high as it is.
Is there no one reasonable and not in it for themselves at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue? ...more

It was okay. Felt more like reading a long form tabloid. Nice quotes. I understand why Bannon was fired by Rebekah Mercer after this came out.

Hard to say I liked it, I didn't like it. Or perhaps I didn't like how easily I enjoyed the tabloid narrative. Or perhaps I didn't like that the reality that this was not, at least ostensibly, a work of fiction. Either way I cannot say this was either an enjoyable or educational book, it was however, illustrative.

As expected there were no revelations, yet reading the detailed elaboration of what had previously, for me, been largely headline and a little corroboration, my head could not but shake ...more

I give up. I have made several runs at this book and never got far. Trump and his people are bad, we get that. There is nothing new in this book (then or now). Just another someone trying to proffit off the grifter in chief and the suffering of the American people.
