This is an entertaining way to explore some very heavy topics: Apartheid, global poverty, criminality, the absurdity of racism, etc. Trevor Noah narrates his own book and does a great job with all the voices, languages and accents, adding a layer of authenticity and immediacy to the narrative. This book is a mess, it is disorganized and out of chronological order. Worst of all it spoils upcoming stories because the current tale happens after something that has not been described yet and that something is important to the current tale so some time is spent recounting the other story then pages later you get to that other tale and you have already read it. This is true for about the last 50 pages where except for a few details you already know what has happened. It is frustrating. I kno
