A fantastic, sentimental, inspiring "conclusion" to Lewis's tale. This volume covers the extremely turbulent period from 1964-1965 and Lewis's meditations on the past end with the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 (now gutted by the Supreme Court; RIP) and the marches and demonstrations in Selma. By far the best of the three volumes and much heavier on the text.
