Offerman's choice of "America's Gutsiest Troublemakers" was....interesting. Probably not the bunch I would have selected, but the inclusion of some lesser-known names did force me to think and learn a bit more than if this was merely a recitation of a sophomore US History textbook. While I take issue with the exclusion of civil rights leaders (why is John Lewis absent?) and felt the book favored woodworkers to an inordinate degree, it was an interesting listen.

Audio book. Had to discard. Annoying and too many big words (and I LOVE a well placed big word) and tangents. Offerman's humor is not for me. Had to save my love for him as Ron Swanson by putting this one aside!

The more Offerman writes, the more inspired I am. I read the hard copy and then signed up for a free Audible trial which I promptly cancelled after downloading Gumption. Both versions were excellent.
