If you are considering this book, do it by audio. Martin Short narrates it himself - complete with all his personas. There is a lot of name dropping, but that is because his friends are famous people.
In seven discs, Short traverses 65 years from his birth, the death of his oldest brother, the death of each of his parents and ultimately the death of his beloved wife. All this without being maudlin, but still causing my eyes to stream while driving unknown roads on my way to NYC.
