If climate change is real, then we should be taking action to avoid the pessimistic end of the models. That's going to involve inspiring people to engage in lifestyle decisions like bicycle commuting, having fewer children, living near a nuclear plant, etc. These are the difficult "changes everything" conversations that I thought would be addressed.
