Politics aside, this is a fine book to understand all that a secretary of state must take on in this challenging position. One must be a skilled political player in the domestic arena, and a savvy political player on the internal stage. Secretary Clinton was both things and served her country well in this position. This book really seems like a Hillary book: it's painfully cautious and cleanly edited. In fairness to Secretary Clinton, she was a candidate for president, so she couldn't write the ...more
