I try not to read too many reviews because I worry they will flavor mine. I don't want to parrot what other people have said. But one thing jumped out in the few that I skimmed: Suskind tends to brag about his Pulitzer. I laughed it off and started the book. Guess what. He does. It's his go-to thing, and I kind of get it.
