What Members Thought
I don’t know if this is a good book, per se, but it certainly is a unique one with wacky space zoology hijinks, ridiculous characters and plot, and an aggressively Spanglish patois. I was along for the ride in this portrayal of the future and I thought it was fun, funny and novel. I so rarely read sf in which Americanish culture is not somehow embedded in the texture of the universe, and this was a breath of fresh air.
