I really wish there was a half star I could give this, because it's not *bad*, it's just very straight forward. It's a breezy read with an interesting premise that plays out like a lesser tier Agatha Christie novel. The turns are and twists are telegraphed, and there isn't much that will surprise you along the way. There's a shoestring of a subtext about the difference between who you are and who you pretend to be, but it stays fairly surface level and refuses to dig much deeper or chart a uniqu
