What Members Thought

Three words to describe how I felt about this book: I. LOVED. IT. (with about a bajillion exclamation points)
Anna Oliphant is spending her senior year of highschool at a fancy boarding school in Paris. You think that that'd be a dream come true, right? Wrong. She hates that she has to leave her mom, her little brother, her friends, her job, her car, her (almost boyfriend) Toph, everything. But once she gets there, she decides to give it a chance, and things start to look up for her when she meet ...more

I both love and hate this book at the same time, regardless of my five star-rating...Oh, who am I kidding? I LOVE it!!! I mean, it IS a five star-rating. Anna and the French Kiss is a fabulous book about first love, second chances, taking risks, and listening to your heart. And I may not be a phsycic, but I predict hundreds and hundereds of girls in the future reading this, and I can absolutely see why. I ended up deciding to re-read Anna and The French Kiss and I am so incredibly happy I did!
This book was both funnier and even cuter the second time I read it (if that’s even possible :D) Anna is such an amazing main character and St.Clair, well, is amazing....*sighs dreamily*. The plot is so intense and I found myself rooting for Anna and St.Clair every single step of the way. Anna's father a major novelist decides to ship her of to a boarding school, the School of America in Paris (AKA the SOAP); leaving behind her best friend and her crush (with whom things might have started to work out). But Anna soon makes quite a few friends there including the gorgeous, French speaking, British accented St. Clair (Etienne). And oh yeah, he's taken.
This book follows Anna and her experiences in France, the stupid mistakes, the little precious happy moments and so on.
