That was intense! This book started with a bang and never let up. I was completely engrossed in Penryn and Raffe's adventures. I am a huge fan of all the "evil angel" books out there, and this one mixed with a touch of post-apocalyptic/Walking Dead was just spectacular. I was so anxious to find out whether Penryn would find her sister that au could barely read fast enough! Terrific, captivating story with believable characters and a fully developed setting. Highly recommend!

I've been wanting to read this book for a long time, but just never got around to it until now. I really enjoyed it. I loved Penryn. She was an awesome lead character. Raffe was a mystery I was dying to learn more about. I still want to know more about his past, and I am very interested to discover what will happen next for him. Penryn's mother was interesting. One of the best YA books I've read in a while. Dark, romantic, terrifying, and totally original. I was enthralled from beginning to end. Can't wait for the sequel!

I could not put this book down! It's a really quick read and it's 250 pages fly by, but that's partly because there's hardly a lull in the storytelling. Penryn is a fun, tough heroine, driven by family devotion, and Ee keeps the mystery alive concerning Raffe and his backstory. Angelfall is a dark story, with plenty of blood and gore - though it wasn't too scary to read at night. I'd definitely recommend this book to people who enjoy YA fiction and a good post-apocalyptic story.
