The 5th Wave is good. Really good. I wouldn't say it's as good as The Hunger Games, but it ranks above Divergent to me. The alien invasion was probably the most well crafted version of the apocalypse I have read or seen recently. The characters were well fleshed-out and believable. Honestly, I wasn't expecting all that much from the book, but I was duly impressed. Looking forward to the subsequent books.

For an alien invasion, it's awful boring. It took me nearly a month to get through it because I couldn't get interested in it ever. That never happens, I love to read! Even books I absolutely hate don't take me more than a week tops. This is one series I won't be finishing.
