Quentin is in love/slightly obsessed with his neighbor Margo Roth Spiegelman. They used to play together when they were little and when they were 9 they found a dead body in the park and Margo wasn't as freaked out by it as Q was. That's how you learn Margo is unique. I'm a fan of John Green's writing style, but this wasn't my favorite book of his. I cared more for the secondary characters (Radar, Ben, and Lacey) than I did for either Quentin of Margo. Quentin was a bit of a jerk at times and Margo was your typical Manic Pixie Dream Girl. Still, the book was highly readable, and had some genuinely excited and poignant parts to it. 7/10 would read again. ...more
