It was hard for me to rate this book. I love angel stories and so I loved the STORY of this book, but I felt a little let down on the storyTELLING. There were just so many words (it's not in front of me at the moment, but I'm thinking there were 450 pages or so,) and only the last hundred were page-turners.
I liked Luce, the MC, and found her to be believable in her inner conflict. I loved Cam and liked Daniel. But I think it's supposed to be the other way around.

I had high hopes for this book and was disappointed. It needed a lot more development in some areas and such a short period of time is covered in this book. Towards the end, Luce finds a book that will explain a lot about Daniel, but then doesn't even read any of it before rushing off. Most people would have read the whole book seeking answers. The ending just seems really rushed and there is so little explained. Hopefully the next books in the series are better. FYI: There is some language.

This kept me turning the page to find out what was going to happen. But I love any story that deals with fallen angels
I liked this book overall. My only complaint is how long it took the author to form any semblance of a plot.
