The journey that started with Cinder four books ago, ends in Winter, the last installment in the Lunar Chronicles series, and trust me, it is worth it. Meyer delivers a fitting end to all her amazing characters in this scifi adventure with a fairy tale vibe. Not only you have an entertaining and fun plot, but memorable characters (with great development), non stop action, amazing friendships and lots of swoons. The quote, "don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened" came to mind while reading this book because though saying good-bye to this series and its characters made me sad, I am so glad that I read this series. This was a truly stellar ending and I loved how everything ended up playing out and the fact that everyone got their happily ever after. I am so sad that this series has come to an end. A brilliant series - one of my all time favourite YA series.
Couldn't wait to get my hands on this novel. It's crazy how desperate one can be to read about WOC protagonists in mainstream YA lit, but there ya go.
