This book is going into the "did not finish" pile. The pace is incredibly slow, the story is incredibly dull, and I have much better books in my list to read than this waste of time. If you want an idea of how dull this novel is, I was actually falling asleep at work while reading it. At one point, I put it down altogether and took a cat nap because that was so much better than reading another page. I am so glad I only borrowed this from the library.

Didn't really get into this, I don't like the style of writing... I'm sure those poems are just to waste space because Ali couldn't find anything interesting to say.
