I'm exhausted so all I can say right now is that I'm glad I ignored the blurb and snippets about the book. The edition I have has a big USA Today quote saying how much Twilight fans will love the book and a Q&A in the back talking about Twilight some more. THIS BOOK HAS ZERO SIMILARITIES TO TWILIGHT.
Even if I was a Twilight fan, I would acknowledge that there were no similar qualities at all -- beyond a female protagonist and young love. It's not paranormal, it doesn't read like a 3rd grader wr ...more

Hmmmm, lately I haven't been thrilled by what I've picked up. Is her story sad? Yes. But I wasn't super attached to the characters. The gist of the story is that Mia, a teenager who plays the cello and is trying to get into Julliard, is seriously injured in a car crash with her family. I loved this book, I thought it was very insightful into the mind of a coma patient. I loved the way it was written and the time holds all truth that love conquers all. I saw that there was a sequel called where she went and I am excited to start that new book. I would definitely recommend this book to all ages, but be careful and have a box of Kleenex nearby it is a real tear jerker.
