Inheritance was a nice addition and ending to the Inheritance Cycle. I think Eragon finally became a man. Arya is still some strange mixture of male and female but whatever. I must admit though she acted more female in this book. I'm really glad Murtagh didn't die. I was really worried that his character would be ruined beyond repair but Paolini managed to redeem him back to his former glory he held in th first book.

It’s been a while since I’ve read any books in this series, so it was a little jarring to be so immersed in the culture of Alagaësia once more. Paolini led the exposition with a few action sequences (which he has gotten much better at writing, I might add), which is the perfect way to get the reader hooked. Paolini’s narration style has always been a bit wordy, and in some cases it took me out of the story a bit. However, I found myself duly impressed with this book, something that has never hap

I decided to re-read The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini and I was pleased by how much I enjoyed it. I liked it more this time than I did the first time because I was able to skip some of the slower bits since I had read it before. I thoroughly enjoy the characters and I like how detailed a world Christopher Paolini has built but the story does definitely drag at points. I still loathe the way the series ends though.

I think this was a very well written book. I really enjoyed it and imo, it's the best in the series. I wish we had a bit more closure in the end, but over all I think Paolini did the story justice.
I really would love to see a spin off series about Murtaugh and Nasuada. They were probably my favorite couple aside from Eragon and Arya.
I will definitly keep reading anything that he writes, and I hope he writes something soon!
I just finished this series and I'm in a bit of a withdrawl!

I don't know why I like this series. I just do. I had a hard time getting into Inheritance. It starts slow. I think Christopher Paolini likes to get into the details too often which slows the plot down. I criticize JK Rowling with the same though. Once I got into the book, the story hooked me. Ending took too too long to wrap up.
