I don't know what it is about these books I love so much, but I absolutely cannot put them down when I have the free time. I'm pretty sure about 90% percent of my interests is about Dimitri, because, obviously, the man is a babe. Just describing him in a book and I'm all like 'WHEW, IS IT HOT IN HERE OR....?'. It doesn't take much for me to fall in love with a book character. I'm pretty easy.

2025 reread- I was randomly thinking about this book over the weekend, and then reread this is on sitting. It's just so fun. I love Rose so much. I also had a crisis where I wondered how Moroi introduce new genetic material to their gene pool, since Moroi+Moroi=Moroi, and Moroi+Human= Dhampir and Dhampir+Moroi=Dhampir. Random thoughts of the middle of the night. Is there an answer to this?

So I thought I'd try this series out since it seems it has gotten fairly good reviews. Now I'm completely sucked in. The characters are interesting as well as the plot. I wasn't impressed with Rose in the beginning of the book, but she cleaned up about half way through the book. I'll be reading the rest of the series to see what happens next. I do wish the book was cleaner - too much language and sexual content for me and without those things I would have rated it higher.
