I was so happy to return to the world of Holly Black's fae. This book does not feature Jude and Cardan other than by name and is more of a quest fantasy than political intrigue, but I loved it just as much as I love The Folk of the Air trilogy.

Took me almost a week to finish the book. I’m in the minority as I didn’t care for the constant Jude & Cardan name dropping. A clean slate in the same universe was what I hoped for & sadly did not get.
