I liked this novel, but I didn't love it. It's fun and witty and wise, but it suffers from the thing I feel a lot of Brandon's books suffer from: there's just too much of it. Also, it felt like kind of a miss match, because a lot of the humor and tone of the book seemed aimed at a Middle Grade audience, but it's not really a Middle Grade novel (which I was expecting).
