If I knew more about Greek Mythology, I might have liked this one better. Don't get me wrong, I did like it fine, I just think I might have gotten more out of it if I already knew the relationships and some of what was going on. But nevertheless, this was a decent read, modernized retelling of Hades and Persephone. I didn't see anything in it that would keep it out of the high school. Of course, there is always the abuse, but most retellings would have that in there and this one had less than I ...more
