What Members Thought
This book isn't nearly as good as the original trilogy. And I think that comes down to one thing -- Katniss' voice. Her POV was really good and it made the original outstanding.
However, that's not to say that I did not enjoy this prequel. I loved learning about the creatures and even about the start of the Hunger Games. The character of Coriolanus Snow was not unsympathetic - but honestly why would you read the book if he was?

3 1/2 stars. The book didn’t convince me or make me sympathetic to Snow and why he became who he was as President Snow.
