Just what you expect from Sanderson's YA. Plus something else.

I had my doubts prior to reading this book. Read the preview and it was kinda eh whatever.
Should've known better though. :)

Like all of Sanderson's books, Skyward has fun physics-based (if you're into that kind of thing) actions and battles. Unlike the rest of his books, Skyward has spaceship. If you like Reckoners, you'll LOVE Skyward. If you don't like or haven't read Reckoners, try Skyward anyway. 10/10 will read the next book. ...more

I wanted a good sci-fi and I got it. I was frustrated with the main character for the first 200 pages or so, but in the end grew to really like her.
