A lot of people don’t like this duology(?) but I’m all for it! I love Sara Holland’s imagination and the use of time in these books is all at once creepy and brilliant.

I prefer not to give half star reviews, because it either is or it isn’t. But I gave Everless 3 stars, and Evermore was better in some ways but it still wasn’t an all out live.

The book struggled with pacing and seemed to climax in the first 30% of the book, then we spend chapter and chapters wandering about trying to make sense ...more

I really wanted to like this book because I loved Everless. But I found this one quite hard to get into. I found myself skimming most of the time. The story is still really good. I love the story, but there’s something in the writing style that turned me off. There were too many flashbacks that the author could have executed better. But I admire her effort in trying. It’s very difficult to write flashbacks and memories.
