About the same level of quality as Ignite Me. A new addition is Warner's perspective- the book switches from Juliette's POV to Warner's, switching off with each new chapter. It's handled fairly well and he seems consistent in characterization. I like that there are some new characters introduced. There is finally one more female character of note aside from Juliette. This was a rough one. Up until the last couple of chapters, I honestly didn’t know whether or not I’d continue the series after this one. The cliffhanger piqued my interest, and I’ll most likely continue, but I need a break.

Each book feels like Juliette goes back and forth between “I’m a worthless little girl, I feel sorry for myself” and “I’m a badass and I’m going to take over the world” and I’m tired of it. I want the momentum to keep rolling please and thank you.

So, like, have you ever have a series that you just love? Like, you know it has flaws and everything but you just eat it up anyway? I believe that is what the Shatter Me series is for me. I can’t even explain it. I’m so eager to see where this goes after all the new revelations in this one. Even though the drama felt a tad contrived and a lot of it could have been prevented if the characters didn’t have all these damn communication issues... I really enjoyed this one.
